> Cocother is a biocomposite material made from bacterial cellulose, grown on agricultural waste sourced from the coconut industry. The word Cocother comes from the two words “Coco” and “Leather” and refers directly to the nature of the material that is
very similar to animal leather.
> It is entirely made out of cellulose created by bacteria and banana plant fibers. All ingredients that go into Cocoeather production can biodegrade in the compost within 90 days. Cocoeather is completely vegan and because it is made from cellulose fibres it can be recycled into paper products.
> Its strength is comparable to vegetable tanned leather of similar thickness. Cocother is a quite porous material, it has a semi-soft temper, similar to vegetable tanned leather and it is water-resistant. It contains absolutely no artificial substances and it will not cause
any allergies, intolerances or illness.
